Fees

Please be advised that as from 01.06.2024 all DVA cardholders patients will be Privately Charged.

Hammond Park Family Practice is a Mixed Billing Practice; therefore, many consultations may have fees associated. We still continue to bulk bill if you meet the criteria (Certain Doctors Only), please ask reception if unsure. As a practice, we believe that everyone deserves to have access to high quality healthcare.

Unfortunately, the rebate we receive from Medicare does not cover the operational costs of the practice. We are committed to maintaining and providing the very best quality healthcare for our patients and so we have taken this step to protect the sustainability of our practice.

Some Exceptions to the FEE’s
  • Weekend Fees, Saturday & Sunday & Public Holidays are privately billed
  • Private Fees for all patients inclusive of children and pensioners
  • Walk in patients occur extra out of pocket fees- please call reception (walk-in patient will incur a walk in fee).
  • Item Not Cover under Medicare – Medicare does not cover all services.
  • Listed below are services that Medicare does NOT cover, payment will be required to be paid on the day of your appointment.
